Rory McIlroy at Alfred Dunhill Links Championship 12BET 9/29 2PM(GMT+8)
Quite possibly the game’s next truly great player after his astonishing record-breaking US Open triumph at Congressional CC in June. McIlroy’s eight-shot demolition of the field evoked comparisons with Tiger Woods’ watershed win at the 1997 Masters, as the 22-year-old Northern Irishman bettered nearly all of Woods’ scoring records.
He became the youngest US Open champion since Bobby Jones (21) in 1923. The 2007 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was just the second tournament McIlroy played as a professional – where he finished third – thereby earning enough money to bypass the Qualifying School and launch his career. This is his fifth consecutive Championship appearance. - http://www.alfreddunhilllinks.com/

Unbelievable win of Haas at Tour Championship
When Haas reached his ball, though, he realized he had a shot. "An all-or-nothing shot," he called it. The ball was only halfway submerged. Haas decided to treat it like a bunker shot and blast out. With his right foot in the water, that's what he did.
The ball came out perfectly. Incredibly, it even had some spin on it, going by the pin and suddenly stopping less than three feet away. Haas would save par. Mahan would miss his birdie putt. "I couldn't buy a putt today," Mahan would later say.
On to the third playoff hole, the par-3 18th. A few minutes later, when Haas managed par from the fringe while Mahan failed to get up-and-down from the bunker, the 29-year-old son of Jay Haas won for the third time in his career and the first time this year, having lost two previous playoffs during the regular season.
He also won the FedExCup -- although he didn't know it at the time. Haas said he was aware that the money was on the line, but he didn't realize for sure he had won it until he saw both the TOUR Championship trophy and the FedExCup trophy "and there was no other player" around to claim one of them.
He looked at his wife to confirm. She nodded his head. The $10 million bonus was his, as well as the $1.44 million that goes to the tournament winner. - http://www.pgatour.com

PGA Tour : The Tour Championship (1st Round - 18 Holes) 12BET 9/23
The Tour Championship (typeset as TOUR Championship by Coca-Cola) was historically the final event of golf's PGA Tour season. Since 2007, it has been the final event of the FedEx Cup, the competition for the first official championship trophy for the PGA Tour season. From 1987 to 1996, several courses hosted the event. Beginning in 1997, the event alternated between Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas, and East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia; since 2004, East Lake has been the event's permanent home. The greens at East Lake were redone with MiniVerde Bermuda grass (replacing heat prone bentgrass) in 2009. It is one of the richest tournaments on the tour.

Justin Rose BMW Champion 12BET news
Justin Rose celebrates with his son Leo after he won the final round at the BMW Championship golf tournament. Perhaps it was only fitting that the winner was Justin Rose, whose goal all week was to keep it simple. Rose had a practice session with coach Sean Foley to make sure his club was on line at the top of his swing. Rose tried to limit his swing thoughts to only one key, which was to rotate his hips.
Rose's two-shot victory, his third on the PGA Tour, over John Senden was worth $1.44 million and sends him to the Tour Championship with a shot at the $10 million FedEx Cup prize. Rose jumped from 34th in the FedEx Cup standings at the beginning of the week to No. 3. The top five — Webb Simpson, Dustin Johnson, Rose, Luke Donald and Matt Kuchar — only have to win the Tour Championship to collect the biggest payoff in golf.
Rose, Senden and third-place finisher Geoff Ogilvy were the only ones who played their way into the Tour Championship. The order was the only thing that changed in the standings for both the U.S. and International teams for the Presidents Cup, to be played Nov. 17-20 at Royal Melbourne in Australia.
6:11 PM |
Mark Wilson is leading the BMW Championship
Mark Wilson, who lives about 15 minutes away from the public course in the suburbs south of Chicago, began his second round Friday with a careless bogey when he missed the green to the left and chipped to about 10 feet. That was enough to make him remember Woods. They were paired in the last group of the third round two years ago, and Woods hooked his opening tee shot into a bunker and made bogey.
Wilson didn't have a big lead. He had to settle for a share of the lead with Justin Rose, who had a 68 and had his own remembrance of Woods.
They were paired in the final round in 2007, in the second-to-last group, when Woods got near the lead and hit the gas. He holed a long birdie putt on the 12th and wound up with a 63 for a two-shot victory.
Rose wound up making a bogey from the bunker on the 13th hole to slip two shots behind Wilson, but he closed strong. Considering that Rose opened with a 63 — tying the lowest start ever at this tournament — a 68 put him in a good frame of mind.
It was even better for Wilson, who considers Cog Hill a home course after he moved to the area. Wilson again had a large following of friends and family, and he treated them to a good show. He ran off four straight birdies around the turn, starting with a wedge to tap-in range at No. 8, and was steady the rest of the way for a 66.

BMW Championship (2nd Round - 18 Holes) 12BET PGA Tour - 9/16 11:20PM(GMT+8)
The PGA Tour BMW Championship is the tournament traditionally known as the Western Open. It assumed the BMW Championship monicker beginning in 2007, when the event also became one of the four FedEx Cup "playoff" tournaments. This tournament is the oldest "regular" event on the PGA Tour, dating to 1899; only the majors U.S. Open and British Open are older. (This tournament should not be confused with the European Tour's BMW PGA Championship.)
The Western Open was first played in 1899, making it the second-oldest professional golf tournament in America after the U.S. Open.
In its first two years, this was a two-round tournament. It expanded to four rounds in 1902 (there was no tournament in 1900). Willie Smith was the first winner in 1899, and Willie Anderson the first winner of the event at 72 holes.
Kelly is in the field for the BMW Championship this week. Kelly finished 10th with a nine-under at the Deutsche Bank Championship last week. He did not play at the BMW Championship last year. Kelly has three top-25 finishes in three playoff events this year.8

PGA Tour at 12BET 9/15
After a week off, the PGA Tour heads back out to continue the FedEx Cup Playoffs with the semifinals at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club outside of Chicago. The field has been whittled down to 70 players with the top 30 in the standings after this week advancing to the Tour Championship. Cog Hill #4, commonly known as Dubsdread, is known for its large greens that beg you to three-putt if you land on the wrong side due to many elevation changes. Pin placement can literally make the hole completely different from one day to another. This is one of those places where length certainly doesn’t hurt you but precision with irons to avoid long putts on the big undulating greens is certainly more important. The course played tough last year with nobody finishing in double digits below par and the finishing hole is also the most difficult hole, a 480 yard par 4. Look for the winner this week to be a model of consistency who avoids major disasters and sprinkles in some birdies as opposed to someone who goes out and fires consecutive 62s as we have seen in other tournaments this year. - sportschatplace.com
