| • Hunter Mahan shot a third-round 66 to tie for the lead. Mahans 4-under-par 66 included his second birdie of the week on the long par-3 18th hole. For the week, there have only been 12 birdies on the final hole. |
| • Hunter Mahan and Steve Stricker are the only players to tee it up in all 20 PGA TOUR Playoff events since the launch of the FedExCup five years ago. Mahan, Stricker and Phil Mickelson are the only three players to reach the TOUR Championship in each of those five years. |
