Staying For More Champions League Football: Evra Will Not Exit Man Utd

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra downplayed reports that he is bound to transfer to big-spending Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, saying that he is happy to play for the Old Trafford club.

Amidst reports indicating that he may make the move to PSG, Evra jokingly said that people have to kill manager Sir Alex Ferguson first before such a transfer could ever happen, despite the possibility of a larger salary package from the Qatari-backed French outfit.

Evra is not planning to leave a footpr1nt for departure soon as he plans to stay throughout the entirely of his contract, which lasts until 2014. United’s policy of providing a one-year contract extension to players over 30 casted doubts on his future.

Man Utd Thwart Braga in UEFA Champions League Away Challenge

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Portuguese hosts Braga left English visitors Manchester United trailing for the first 40 minutes of their Champions League game on Wednesday, but a trio of goals in the space of 10 minutes before stoppage time lifted The Red Devils to another three points.

After an empty first half, Alan threatened to win with ease against United with a successful penalty at the start of the second half. Robin van Persie, who replaced Danny Welbeck, found the back of the net on the 80th minute to equalize.
