THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Hosts Manchester City blighted the winning hopes of visitors Aston Villa through a 5-0 thrashing at the Etihad stadium during Saturday’s Premier League.

David Silva opened City’s impending scoring threat as he fired the netting three minutes before half time. Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez directed the club to win w1th ease with a brace for each player on the second half.

While Villa manager Paul Lambert ended up complaining about the match’s officiating, his City counterpart Roberto Mancini expressed his praises for his Argentinian striker duo’s fantastic performance.

Man City Boss Roberto Mancini Loses Cool After UEFA Champions League Draw With Ajax


THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Rage filled Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini as his side submitted to a 2-2 draw against Ajax in Tuesday’s Champions League match.


Mancini’s men looked set to win with ease against rivals Ajax until officials ruled Sergio Aguero’s second goal as offside and denied a penalty plea from Mario Balotelli after the striker received an unfair challenge from Ricardo van Rhijn.

Tension ignited at the pitch when Mancini angrily confronted match officials and criticized them for their controversial decisions. The disarray, which included a row against the pitch cameraman, led the manager to receive an improper conduct charge from UEFA with penalties including a fine and a one-match touchline ban.
