THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Galatasaray successfully took their Norwich City inspiration to the test as they defeated a second-string Manchester United squad 1-0 in last Tuesday’s Champions League fixture.
None of the clubs appeared to win w1th ease, but
Galatasaray had better chances from Hamit Altintop and Burak Yilmaz – the man
who eventually scored the only goal in the game. Nick Powell sought to place
United forward through a close header that hit the bar.
United remain on top of the group
with 12 points from four wins. Galatasaray sit at second with seven points.
