Louis shares Africa lead
South African duo share the lead after three rounds of Africa Open
Louis Oosthuizen and Tjaart Van Der Walt both birdied the 18th to grab a share of the lead at the Africa Open after the third round at East London Golf Club.
Overnight leader Oosthuizen held a two-shot advantage over the field at the halfway stage, but that was trimmed down to a single stroke, with the former Open champion and Van Der Walt locked together on 21-under par.
Oosthuizen had seven birdies and a bogey in his six-under round of 67, five shots worse off than his sparkling second round 62, while his fellow South African Van Der Walt carded a brilliant eight-under round of 65.
The duo went toe-to-toe with a blistering opening as defending champion Oosthuizen birdied the first three holes and Van Der Walt the first four, before he went on to hit nine overall with just one dropped shot at the eighth.
Retief Goosen lies in third place on 20-under after his round of 66, with the two-time US Open champion looking for a first win on the European Tour for five years.
Englishman Danny Willett bogeyed the final hole to slightly sour what was otherwise a flawless round of 65 to take fourth place on his own on 19-under.
Richard Sterne shot the low round of the day, combining seven birdies and an eagle in his nine-under round of 64, which put him in fifth place on his own on 17-under - just four shots off the lead.
A pair of Scots are then in a three-way tie for sixth, with Alastair Forsyth and Craig Lee both hitting 68 to sit on 16-under alongside Jaco Van Zyl. - http://www1.skysports.com
