The second annual McGladrey Classic, a PGA TOUR Fall Series event, will be played on the historic Seaside Course of Sea Island Golf Club, October 10-16, 2011. Like the 2010 tournament, this event promises to be another fantastic time for spectators and players as they experience Sea Island's rich history, culture and extraordinary hospitality.
With the help of tournament host and chairman Davis Love III, the Davis Love Foundation and title sponsor McGladrey, the McGladrey Classic is expected to be a hit as it draws one of the strongest fields on the PGA TOUR’s Fall Series schedule. Many PGA TOUR players who live or train at Sea Island Golf Learning Center, including Davis Love III, Lucas Glover, Jonathan Byrd, Matt Kuchar and Zach Johnson, as well as defending champion Heath Slocum have already committed to play in the event. - http://www.seaisland.com
